In 13 days, Ouvert’, my first work as Composer-in-Residence for the Aarhus Symphony Orchestra, will be premiered.
Thanks to the residency supported most generously by the Danish Arts Foundation, I get the opportunity to write four orchestral pieces for the Aarhus Symphony Orchestra that sparked my love for symphonic orchestral music almost 20 years ago.
Aarhus Symphony Orchestra performed in the gym hall at my high school in the beginning of the 00’s, and I have since then been fascinated by the orchestral sound and the soundscapes that a symphony orchestra can produce.
The day after the premiere of Ouvert’ on October 1st in the Symphonic Hall, Musikhuset Aarhus, the orchestra repeats the entire concert in the same gym hall at old high school.
Thank you!
The concert is sold out, but keep an eye out for any released tickets here.
