7 Nocturnes
7 Nocturnes was written during the nights of spring 2020 for Christina Åstrand and Per Salo.
The seven movements can be performed in written order ( I – VII ) or mixed order, chosen by the performers.
For instance:
III – I – VII – II – IV – VI – V

Accelerando-form
As Nachtmusik and SUITE, 7 Nocturnes make use of the “accelerando-form”, where the movements become shorter and shorter.
